Community Outreach

Our community outreach service supports vulnerably housed individuals to maintain a tenancy and access the right support, thus preventing homelessness.

Our brilliant team have years of experience in supporting vulnerable people with complex needs and have good links with a huge network of support services across Cornwall.

We provide short term support (typically up to six months) with independent living skills and the self-management of health and wellbeing for people in the St Austell, Newquay and Padstow areas.

What We Can Help With

  • Supporting you to maintain your accommodation.
  • Accessing support to manage domestic tasks.
  • Managing finances and budgeting.
  • Accessing employment, education and training.
  • Learning techniques to self-manage your mental and physical health.
  • Signposting and support with referrals to other agencies.
  • Help with officialdom and paperwork.

What We Cannot Help With

  • We cannot source housing for you.
  • We cannot work with you if you are already homeless.
  • We cannot work with you if you have dependents.
  • We do not provide care or transportation services.

Our service is specifically for adults who have additional needs such as mental health, finances, literacy or substance use. We are happy to speak with you and discuss whether we are able to support you through our service.
