We were delighted to welcome Bishop Hugh Nelson of Truro and Vicar Jonathan Huff of St Trinity Church, St Austell, this week. Staff and Trustees hosted a tour around some of our supported accommodations and small holding at Cosgarne Hall, followed by a proper Cornish cream tea. The homemade scones had been baked by one of our wonderful residents…..jam first, of course!
This visit was a valuable opportunity to highlight the importance of the work that we at Harbour Housing undertake, not just within our local community of St Austell, but throughout Cornwall.
Bishop Nelson is passionate about the concerns for individuals struggling with mental health issues and has experience in supporting communities in which people with and without learning disabilities live together and support one another and found our person-centred approach both creative and edgy.
