Trustee
After having a varied early career Tim studied law at Plymouth and graduated in 1997.
He went on to study at the Inns of Court School of Law in London specialising in employment law. Tim was called to the Bar in 1998 and is a member of Middle Temple.
On returning to Cornwall he was approached by local businesses asking if he could help out with their employment law related problems. Realising there was a need for specialist advice in that area Tim created TCS Business Services. He has represented clients in Employment Tribunals throughout the UK and the Employment Appeal Tribunal in respect of unfair dismissal claims, sex discrimination, minimum wage and breach of contract claims. He also has a vast knowledge when drafting bespoke employment law documents from employment contracts to restrictive covenants and non competition clauses.
Tim volunteers as a trustee of Harbour Housing bringing with him expert knowledge of employment law and a passion for supporting people. A very keen cyclist, Tim cycled from Land’s End to John O Groats in five days in 2022!
