Alison has worked in a variety of finance, treasury, risk management and governance roles. She now runs her own medical device business.
Having spent her early career in risk management at The Bank of England and Citigroup, Alison moved into a treasury & governance role at Innocent, a UK fruit juice company. Working for this purpose led business resonated with her personal beliefs and underscored the fact that corporate profits can be used to do some good. Alison was a Trustee of The Innocent Foundation which worked to alleviate the hunger of marginalised people in some of the very poorest parts of the world.
As a volunteer with Crosslight Advice, Alison uses her finance skills to support people with their debt issues. She is a keen cyclist, sea dipper and hill walker.
