High Intensity Projects Team Lead
For Harriet, joining Harbour Housing was very much her lighthouse moment where she ‘saw the light’ – for it was something she had aspired to before joining us.
Prior to becoming our Team Lead for three of our projects – the AFO, STAR and Cold Weather Provision, together known as the High-Intensity Projects, Harriet’s journey to joining Harbour saw her undertake a career path that underlines her passion and driving motivation in what she does – helping others.
After studying a National Diploma in Health and Social Care after leaving school, Harriet worked in a variety of different care settings ranging from nursing and residential homes to domiciliary care facilities.
However, when the opportunity arose to achieve the ambition of joining Harbour Housing, she is believed to have jumped so high she hit a satellite in orbit.
Upon joining Harbour, Harriet first worked as a support worker in two projects, one of which was the STAR project she now leads. She went onto become a vital part of our outreach team before becoming the Team Lead for the AFO, STAR and Cold Weather Provision services.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
