Andy joined Harbour Housing following an introduction to homelessness and accommodation services during a year with Cornwall Housing.
During this time, Andy enjoyed some dynamic and very rewarding collaborative working with Harbour Housing staff at their accommodation projects around the beautiful county of Cornwall.
Andy has found that his previous work and life experiences in the police and South African military have paved the way for realising a passionate drive to champion clients and residents with complex needs and multiple disadvantages. Andy’s enthusiasm in a support role is informed by the MEAM approach, and a trauma and psychologically informed way of working.
A background in practicing yoga and counselling provides a lovely foundation for one-to-one and team-working, and immersing in a lovely Harbour Housing philosophy in an environment where each days brings it’s own challenges and rewards for the best versions of ourselves.
