It’s almost that time of year – Christmas. The time of year for the gift of giving.

This year, have you considered giving a gift to someone for whom Christmas might be a bit less merry than usual?

We’re delighted to let you know that you can, thanks to the Cornish Christmas Giving Catalogue!

Once more, you can give to Harbour Housing too and support our work in transforming the lives of at-risk people across Cornwall.

The Cornish Christmas Giving Catalogue is a way in which people can donate to a Cornish charity of their choice this Christmas. Much like a catalogue for Argos or similar, you browse through the charities listed in it and choose which charities you wish to donate to.

You can of course choose more than one charity to donate to and you are able to donate using a paper form or online.

The scheme is run by the Cornwall Independent Poverty Forum, which describe the catalogue as: “The CIPF Cornish Christmas Giving Catalogue provides an opportunity to give a gift of hope to someone in Cornwall at Christmas by giving a gift of love to friends and family.

“You can choose to donate to one or more organisation, providing a much-needed gift for those in need, and a certificate can be sent to a family member or friend, celebrating the gift given on their behalf.

“Each year the catalogue features a number of charitable organisations and all of Cornwall’s Foodbanks.”
